About DealUpdates

DealUpdates began with one simple habit - when you wanted something, you waited until the price was right before purchasing it. Online prices are always fluctuating, and an item can be more expensive on any given Tuesday than it was the week before. That's why we created this site, to make waiting easy and to tell you when to buy.

What we do

Price tracking. You can use our price tracking service for free. Save a product you're interested in, decide the maximum price you're willing to pay, and we'll notify you when we see it reach that price. As we monitor prices for each product, you can tell whether today's price is genuinely low.

Deals. We post to our deals page daily, highlighting items that have fallen substantially below their normal price. We monitor all deals that we post, and when the price goes back up, the deal is removed.

Articles. Our articles will help you answer the main question of what should you buy. We feature regular content focused on sales events and product comparisons.

Chrome Extension. Our free Chrome extension lets you track a product directly from the product page as you're shopping.

How we pick deals

A large percentage-off badge doesn't necessarily mean a good deal. We compare the current price with prices we have watched over time, and a product only qualifies for inclusion when it is selling well below its usual price.

How we make money

DealUpdates is free to use. If you buy a product via one of our links, we may earn a commission from the retailer, at no extra cost to you. While we do earn money from qualifying purchases, the commissions have no influence over the products we feature or the things we say about them.
