Vacuum Deals From Shark, Dyson, iRobot and Bissell Worth Buying
October 21, 2026 · 5 min read
Fall is when floors get the worst of it. Dogs and cats drop their summer coats, wet leaves come in on every shoe, and the holidays mean a house full of people. If your vacuum is wheezing, this is a natural time to replace it.
Vacuum prices move a lot, though. Robot vacuums in particular can swing by more than a hundred dollars in a week and then swing right back. We track these prices every day, so for each pick below you get a plain verdict: buy it now, it's fair, or hold off.
Everything here is from a brand you'd recognize. If a price on a card has changed since we wrote this, our verdict may have changed with it.
Good deals worth buying now
iRobot Roomba 105 Combo Vacuum and Mop
This is iRobot's lower-priced robot that vacuums and mops in the same run. It uses LiDAR to map your rooms, so it cleans in neat rows instead of bumping around at random. For most apartments and smaller homes, that's all the robot you need.
The price is close to the lowest we've seen. It does dip a little lower now and then, but the gap is small and it's spent plenty of time well above where it sits now. We'd buy it at this price and not think twice.
iRobot Roomba 105 Combo Vacuum & Mop with LiDAR Navigation
We love this robot vacuum and mop combo because it does two jobs at once. It uses powerful suction to pick up dirt and d...
Shark AI Robot Vacuum with Self-Empty Base
Shark's robot comes with a base that pulls the dirt out of the robot after each run, so you're not emptying a tiny bin every day. That base is the reason to pick it over a cheaper robot. It matters most if you have pets, since pet hair fills a small bin fast.
This is the lowest price we've seen in the last 90 days. For most of that time it sat a lot higher, and it only drops this far in short bursts. If you want a self-emptying robot without paying premium-robot money, this is a good time.
Shark AV2501AE AI Robot Vacuum with Self-Empty Base
This robot vacuum uses smart navigation to clean your floors while you do other stuff. It empties itself into a base tha...
Black+Decker Dustbuster QuickClean Hand Vacuum
Not every mess needs the big vacuum. A Dustbuster lives on the counter or in a closet and handles cereal on the floor, crumbs on the couch, and dirt by the back door. It's cordless and light, and that's the whole point.
It's at the lowest price we've tracked. It's a cheap thing to begin with, so this is an easy add if you don't already have a hand vac.
Black+Decker Dustbuster QuickClean Cordless Hand Vacuum
A Dustbuster is one of those things every home should have for quick cleanups, and Black+Decker's QuickClean model at $2...

Dyson Ball Animal 3 Upright Vacuum
The Ball Animal 3 is Dyson's corded upright, built for homes with pets and lots of carpet. The ball lets it turn on a dime, and since it plugs into the wall, it never runs out of battery in the middle of a room. That's the main reason to pick a corded Dyson over a cordless one.
The current price is fair. This vacuum spends a lot of time much higher, and this is a price it comes back to fairly often. It has gone lower once or twice, but not for long. If you've been waiting on a Dyson upright, we think this is a reasonable time to buy. If you can wait for the big holiday sales, you might see a little more off.

Shark Navigator Lift-Away Upright Vacuum
The Navigator is one of the most popular uprights out there, and for good reason. It's strong on carpet, it handles pet hair well, and the canister pops off so you can carry it up the stairs or clean the car. It's the practical pick if you want one vacuum that does most things. This listing is the lavender color.
The price is okay, not great. It bounces around a lot, and it's been lower more than once this fall. If your old vacuum just died, this is a fine price to pay. If it's still running, wait for the next dip, because this one dips often.
Shark Navigator Lift-Away Upright Vacuum | Pet Hair | Lavender
This powerful upright vacuum handles pet hair, carpets, and hard floors all in one go. It also features a lift-away can...
Bissell Little Green Portable Carpet Cleaner
A vacuum picks up dirt. It won't lift a coffee spill out of the rug or clean up after a sick pet. That's what the Little Green is for. You fill it with water and cleaning formula, spray the spot, and suck it back up. It's small enough to use on stairs, car seats and couches too.
The price is fair. It's been a bit lower a few times, but the difference is small. If you're hosting this season and have a light-colored rug, we wouldn't wait on this one. This listing is the tea green color.
BISSELL Little Green Mini Portable Carpet Deep Cleaner, Tea Green
This portable carpet and upholstery cleaner tackles tough stains in your home, car, and furniture. We love how compact i...
Wait if you can
Shark Matrix Clean Robot Vacuum
The Matrix Clean is a step up from Shark's other robot here. It cleans in a tighter grid pattern, so it covers your floor more thoroughly, and it's aimed at homes with more carpet and more pets.
The problem is the price right now. This robot has dropped a long way several times over the last few months, including very recently, and it keeps coming back up to where it is today. At this price you'd be paying well over what it often sells for. We'd wait. It drops often enough that another chance is likely, and big shopping events are coming up.
Shark Matrix Clean Robot Vacuum
Fifty percent off a Shark robot vacuum is the kind of price we usually only see around Black Friday. The Matrix Clean mo...
How to pick the right vacuum
If you have pets
Pet hair is the hardest test for any vacuum, because it wraps around brushes and fills bins quickly. Shark's Navigator upright and the Dyson Ball Animal 3 are both built with pets in mind. If you'd rather not push a vacuum around at all, a robot with a self-empty base, like Shark's AI Robot, saves you from emptying a bin full of fur every day.
If you have mostly hard floors
A robot that also mops makes the most sense here. iRobot's Roomba 105 Combo handles the daily sweep and a light mop, which is plenty for kitchens and wood floors. You'll still want something for spills and corners, and that's where a hand vac comes in.
If you live in a small space
You probably don't need a full upright. A robot for the daily pass and a Black+Decker Dustbuster for quick messes covers most of what a small apartment needs, and neither one takes much closet space.
If you have kids, guests or light carpet
Get the Bissell Little Green. No vacuum will deal with juice on a rug, and this one handles a fresh spill in a couple of minutes.
Corded or robot as your main vacuum
A robot is great for keeping floors clean day to day, but it won't deep clean thick carpet the way a good upright will. If your home is mostly carpet, buy an upright first and add a robot later. If it's mostly hard floors, a robot can be your main vacuum with a hand vac as backup.
